A little FYI the game is this Saturday, December 2 at 7:45 pm

Yesterday was a historic day for me because I finally got interviewed by a news reporter. I kind of messed up but I’m still happy I got interviewed.

These past few weeks have been quite an experience for me. For the second in my high school career, I have the opportunity to be a CIF champion and I’m really excited. I’m really confident that we can pull it off and get a ring.

My life to some people is ordinary, to others it my seem like I have it easy in life while others may feel sorry for me but to me it's something I've become used to so I'm used to it. For the past 10 years I've played baseball, the past 5 I've played football, and basketball for 6. The past 5 years I've played sports all year round. The past 11 years I've been in just about all year. Now school lasts for up to seven hours a day 7:30-2:55. After that practice lasts for up to 3 hours some days. So for 10 hours a day I'm busy. Another 7-8 I'm asleep. So those 18 hours of my day leave me with 6 and in those six I'm supposed to find time for homework, chores, and other personal things. Well what I'm trying to get to is, my life is ran on a schedule and it gets pretty boring. What I'm also trying to say is there is not enough time in a day.

My Big Question is this: Why doesn't every athlete have an equal chance of being scouted? This is the place where I will refine me question and collect information that will help me answer it.

In Emerson's essay, "On Self Reliances" he tells how important it is to depend on ourselves. Depending on ourselves is very important because only we can know and control what we will do with ourselves. Only we can care for ourselves more than anyone else. In life, we have to learn to do what makes us happy and not care about anyone else's thoughts.

On my Emerson essay, I feel I did very well on putting in my ideas on Emerson's ideas. I feel like I understood what he was saying.
